The wider picture: Puzzle solved!

In my post on granular reporting I used parts of a classic paleontology picture as illustration and asked, if anybody could guess the wider picture. Today, @movingturtle solved the puzzle:

I found this in an old book. It's a reproduction from a photograph, with the supporting frame for the skeleton conveniently retouched.
